Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my order?
All products are made to order. Wood maps are designed once we receive your order and we will typically send you a proof for review within 24-36 hours. Once you have approved your order we will get started on production . On average we ship our products within 3-5 business days. If you have a special event and need it sooner please communicate with us. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee a delivery date once it leaves our office.
What if I give the wrong address?
I can change addresses without an issue if you notify before before it ships. However I can't do anything about it after it ships. I do not always get returned or undeliverable items. You will be responsible for the cost associated with reshipping the item which sometimes means the cost to remake the item as well.
Custom and personalized orders
Please include any notes on personalization in the additional notes section at checkout. It's important to notify us immediately for customization. Orders go into queue quickly. Unfortunately I cannot add or edit customization after it's already gone into production.
Lake and river facts
Details on lakes and rivers vary greatly based on the source. We search multiple sources to get the most accurate facts on water depth, size, etc on each lake map we design. If you have certain facts you want included or are more familiar with the lake details please provide in the personalization box upon checkout. Once the proof is approved we cannot be responsible for facts that may contradict what is on the map. A Google search will often produce several different facts for a lake, all which are different from one another.
Gift wrapping
We do not offer gift wrapping, however the box the maps ship in are a perfect size for wrapping or presenting as is to the recipient. We do not include any costs on the packing slip only the name of the recipient.
Which lakes, rivers or coastlines can you make into a wood map?
The simple answer is any lake, river, or coastline can be made into a custom wood map. If your body of water is not listed in our Etsy shop you can choose any map listing and just indicate the body of water you want mapped.
